American
Legion Rider
Virginia Beach Chapter 110
Mission Purpose:
The purpose of the American Legion Rider (ALR) Chapter 110 is to support the programs of the American Legion Family by organizing and participating in charity events helping our veterans, their families and the local community by promoting motorcycle safety programs among Legion Family members that share a common interest in motorcycling. Each ALR chapter should strive to represent the virtues, values, ethics and morals of the American Legion in support of freedom, democracy and the safety of our citizens.
Do you own and ride a motorcycle? Consider joining our American Legion Rider (ALR) Chapter 110. We are a group of like-minded men and women who participate in fundraising events and ride to support veterans and children in need. Last year, we raised $114,000 in Virginia, and collectively, ALR chapters across the country raised $2.2 million for veterans and children. There's room for you here in Virginia Beach to be one of the first to join us!
The American Legion supports parades, VA hospitals, Project Lifesaver and collaborates with local law enforcement, including the Sheriff's Office to promote safety. For those who want to contribute to their community while sharing their passion for riding, ALR Post 110 can be your connection to all these programs and activities plus more.
If you are NOT already a member of the American Legion 'Family' AND are qualified to join, please consider joining the American Legion or the Legion Auxiliary. If you are also a motocycle rider and owner, add membership to ALR Chapter 100 to your application!
Membership Eligility:
The American Legion Riders is a program of the American Legion. Membership is open only to members of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary and The Sons of The American Legion. Members must own and ride motorcycles and maintain active membership within The American Legion Family.
